We have a car park with accessible parking spaces. The parking is less than 7 metres from the main entrance. Parking is free, the car park is gravel and there is parking space adjacent to the Cottage
Path to main entrance from the street to the main entrance: there is no level access or tarmac footpath, the road is rough, gravel with potholes, the footpath is a bridle way and uneven.
Access to the cottage is not considered wheelchair friendly. In winter months the bridleway/ footpath and track can become muddy and very wet.
The main entrance is gravelled. There is a narrow, 3 foot wide path that runs along the side of the cottage leading to the patio. The main door is side hung, manual and opens outwards.
Getting around inside
All bedrooms are on the first floor and only accessible via a 13-step staircase. All bedrooms have windows. Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight. TVs have subtitles. All bedrooms are non-smoking. Bedroom furniture, cannot be re-positioned to improve accessibility.
The cottage has an open plan self-catering kitchen. There is level access from the main entrance to the kitchen. The work surface is 82cm high. The hob is 82cm high. The sink is 82cm high. The oven is low level. The crockery is kept in eye level kitchen units but can be moved to base units on request.

There is no level access from the main entrance to the gardens – a threshold step is located at each external door
